Wonder Paws Animal Rescue 1st Annual Charity Golf Classic
On October 23rd 2021, Wonder Paws Rescue hosted its first annual Charity Golf Classic at Pembroke Lake Golf Club. One of our wonderful volunteers and foster Nancy, suggested the event as a way to help Wonder Paws Rescue fundraise to help save the lives of more South Florida Dogs & Cats. Wonder Paws Rescue is completely funded by monetary donations and the time and love of our fosters. Events such as this, help us continue to expand our animal rescue efforts.

Par for the Paws started off with a 1PM shotgun scramble for all our teams. As you can see all of the players really enjoyed themselves out on the course. Pembroke Lake Golf Club was the perfect setting and after a week of storms we had great weather for the event. Images can be downloaded and shared by using THIS link.
Following an afternoon of golf, the attendees, volunteers, sponsors & guests all gathered for an evening of dinner & drinks.
Dinner was kicked off with a heartfelt welcome and thank you message from our founders. Top golfers received awards and a bottle of Tito’s Vodka to celebrate. Our top two teams were separated by 1 point. All the competitors are winners to the cats & dogs they helped raise money to support. After the awards all in attendance took part in good-natured competition once bidding began on the silent auction items and raffle prizes. Images can be downloaded and shared by using THIS link.
Following the welcome it was time to award the trophies and Tito’s Vodka to the top performers.
